I lost my login name or password...
There are two ways members can get this information.
On the Member's Area Login page, there is highlighted text indicating "Wondering how to get your username and password?" "Click here" and a hypertext link is indicated. You can click that link to take you to the login name/password retrieval information.
Or, these are the basically the same instructions you will get once you click that link:
If you don’t have, or can’t remember, your username/login name and password, you can retrieve these by clicking “Member Login” on the USCCA homepage at www.usconcealedcarry.com (right underneath the gun barrel graphic and US map at the top of the page), then looking for the “forgotten or lost password” box just below the username entry box and password entry box. Just enter your e-mail address, click the “send” box and your username and password will be sent to you.
How do I login to the website?
Thanks for joining USCCA!
Just go to our website www.usconcealedcarry.com. Close to the top of the page is a graphics box which contains two guns on the right side and a map of the US with blue dots. Just below the gun barrels and map are the words "member login". Click this to take you to the Member's login page. Enter your username and password which you chose when you signed up.
If you don’t have, or can’t remember, your username/login name and password, you can retrieve these by clicking “Member Area” on the USCCA homepage at www.usconcealedcarry.com (right underneath the gun barrel graphic at the top of the page), then looking for the “forgotten password” box just below the username box and password box. Just enter your e-mail address, click the “send” box and your username and password will be sent to you.
Once you enter your login name and password, you'll be logged into the USCCA website.
I believe an email was sent out to you after joining which has a nice 'how to' video in it, which includes items such as this. Look for that email for other helpful information!
How do I change my email address?
To change the email address for your USCCA login, please follow these instructions:
1. Logging into the USCCA website (www.usconcealedcarry.com)
2. Click the “Service” icon, the last one in the left column on that page
3. Go to the "Support/Resources" section, the last one on the lower left side of the next page
4. Click on "Change Your Account" (third item from bottom)
5. Scroll down: “To change your Account Details”
6. Re-type your password and click “check password” box
7. You can see your entire profile. Here you can change address, phone, e-mail, username, password etc. To check your current status, the very last box shows your current status with next renewal date.
To change your email address for where you receive emails and newsletter updates:
The emails we send out are not membership benefits, but emails that non-members as well as members receive, and everyone who receives it has requested to receive it. The membership database is managed separately from the newsletter/daily tips emails. To change this, go to any of the emails you receive from us. The last line says "unsubscribe/change subscriber options" and a link is indicated after. Click this link then look close to the top where it says "edit contact information". Here you can change your name as it appears on the emails, or the email address. You can also unsubscribe on this screen. Then remember to click Save.
An email may already have been sent to you asking you to 'confirm' you want to receive the newsletter/emails from USCCA. This email would be generated due to the membership database change made to your email address for your membership account. Please click the confirmation link in that email you received to ensure continued delivery of the USCCA emails. If you can't locate that email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folders as it may have routed into those.
How can I give a Gift Subscription?
To enter a gift membership online yourself, you need to click the ‘membership information’ button on the USCCA homepage at www.usconcealedcarry.com. You will be entering a new membership. Click the yellow pricing button for either the Platinum, Gold or Silver memberships.
The next page will ask if you want to upgrade the membership with some product purchases. Either click the “No Thanks” button or the “Yes Upgrade button” to purchase additional upgrade products available.
Then on the next application page, you would fill in the first section with your name, address and phone. IN THE E-MAIL FIELD, PUT THE RECIPIENT’S e-mail address. (it won't accept yours because if you’re a member yours may already in there and the system doesn't take duplicates). This is the billing section so if you are paying via credit card, the first section needs your address which matches your credit card.
In the Mailing Address Section, you will see a box asking where you want the magazine shipped. For a gift membership, select “I would like everything sent to a different address”. Enter the gift recipients name and address in that section.
You will also need to choose a username and password for them, which they can change at a later date.
Choose the 1, 3, or 5 year options in the Membership Options Section.
Then in the Payment Section fill in your information with your credit card and name, mark the "x" box that you agree to the terms, etc. and hit the submit button. This should complete the gift subscription. If you want the gift recipient to get the mailed renewal notice when their account is coming due next year, give us a call, or send us an email via our customer service e-mail site at www.deltamediasupport.com and let us know we need to change the 'bill to' section on that account from your name to the recipients!
Since you entered the recipients e-mail address in the first section, they will get an auto-generated e-mail ‘welcoming’ them to USCCA which has confirmation of their username and password.
How do I renew my membership?
For Current Members:
To renew online, log into the USCCA website (remember to check the 'remember me' box below the login boxes).
If you don’t have, or can’t remember, your username/login name and password, you can retrieve these by clicking “Member Area” on our home page at www.usconcealedcarry.com (words right below the two gun barrels in the graphic near the top of the page), then looking for the “lost password” box. Just enter your e-mail address, click the “send” box and your username and password will be sent to you.
After logging in, click the renew today button on the right side of the page. This will take you to an instructions page with 4 steps to follow. Scroll down the page almost to the bottom to first choose one of the yellow buttons which indicate “renew now”.
After choosing that button, it will give you the option of choosing an upgradable product purchase with the membership (yellow “upgrade option” button) or membership only (“no thanks” button). Choose either of these, then it will take you to the renewal form with your name, address, etc.
In the 3rd section should be the membership options area. Make sure you select the correct 1, 3 or 5 year option on this part of the order form. Complete the credit card transaction information and complete.

- Complete your credit card information and submit
Can I sign up by mail with a check or money order?
Yes you can mail in an application and a check or money order. The best thing to do is go to this link:
http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/2010/
Click the yellow button for the membership you want to join. On the next page choose to upgrade your purchase with some of our products (“Upgrade purchase button) or take only the membership (“No Thanks” button), then on the next page fill out the application online and print it...don't submit it. Mail in the completed application and we'll have a print out of all the information we need from the order form to enter your membership/subscription.
Our address is:
N173W21298 Northwest Passage Way
Jackson, WI 53037
When will I get my first magazine?
A welcome package was mailed out to you the within one week after you subscribed. The package included a complimentary random back issue of Concealed Carry magazine, some other free goodies, and a welcome letter including a copy of our mailing schedule. That mailing schedule indicated member's first subscription copy will be the next issue after your join date…unless you joined within 10 days of a mailing date, then your first copy will be the following issue after that (since we sent the mailing list to the printer 10 days prior to the mailing date for processing time).
We send the complimentary back issue in the welcome package as a gift to get an issue in our members' hands right away...especially if they join right around a mailing date and it will be another 45 days before the next issue gets mailed.
When does my subscription expire?
Follow the instructions here: http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/2010renew/faq/2010RenewalFAQs.html
I was charged more than I thought I should have been...
Yes, our "GOLD" membership is $47 for 1 year. When you signed up, and clicked the $47 button for this membership type, you were taken to an "interim" page which offered an upgrade purchase. There were two yellow buttons on this page "NO Thanks" I'll take the membership only or "Upgrade order"
See that page below:
http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/07b/OfferMW.html
The purchaser has to click one or the other, and you apparently clicked the Upgrade Order form which included upgrade products. This upgrade added $50 to the price, thus $97 was charged.
These products were mailed out to you along with your welcome package and you should be receiving them any day.
How do I renew my membership early?
If you would like to renew early at the new price, you can do so, and the renewal button on our webpage should take you to the new renewal offers. This annual renewal will add on to the current membership expiration date you have. The link in the newsletter e-mail should also allow you to renew where it indicates “if you are a current member, click here to renew”.
We do also now offer multi-year renewals and these multi-year options will come up on the renewal form just before the payment information section.
I'm not sure if I'm a member or not...
If you registered to subscribe to our emailed Free Weekly Newsletter, this is not tied into any of the USCCA memberships. Access to our member’s website is included with our Deluxe Membership only.
If you're not sure if you have joined, please submit a ticket and indicate when you joined, how you paid and your full address and we will try to locate your account further.
If you would like joining info, check out http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/2010/
To change your email address for the newsletters and emails we send to you, please use the unsubscribe/change subscriber options link at the very last line of the emails we send to you. The membership database is managed separately from the emailing database.
What's the difference in the membership options?
The $47 “Gold” membership includes the 1 year subscription to Concealed Carry Magazine plus access to a member's only subscription website. We publish 8 issues per year, released every 45 days. The other two options are:
Member's website access only, “Silver” membership: $19/year This option includes access to the USCCA Member’s website, but not the ability to read the Concealed Carry magazine in .pdf format (Download Library)
Platinum Membership: $197/year. This option includes the website access including the download archive of all back issues since 2004, a hard-copy magazine subscription and bonus downloads available through the year. We publish 8 issues per year, released every 45 days.
We do also offer a free newsletter and informational emails which we send out to non-members as well as members. You can sign up for this at our newsletter website www.armedamericanreport.com and on the right side of the page there is an icon for "Free Newsletter".
Here's a free link to one of our past issues, to give you an idea of our magazine and the information we have to offer:
http://usconcealedcarry.org/free/January2008issueCCM.html
Can I purchase a back-issue of the magazine?
Yes, anyone can purchase back issues. They are $10.00 each for 2004-2009, and 2010 issues are $7.50 each. Some issues in 2004 and 2005 are no longer available. The best option would be to purchase the CD of all of the 2004/2005 issues for $29. You can call our customer service manager, Laura, if you would like to purchase any of these (877-677-1919).

I need help locating an instructor...
As part of our USCCA membership, we do have an instructor locator feature right on the USCCA member's website. Just log into the website, and on the left side of the page you will find below all the blue and gray icons some additional items. In the first "Departments" section, 6th item down is the instructor locator. It will require you to re-login since this is hosted on a different but related USCCA website. This may help you.
Otherwise, you'll probably just have to try a google search for training facilities in your area. USCCA isn't aware of a majority of the facilities across the country, so it would be difficult for us to recommend one.
One other suggestion, that this would be an excellent question to post on the discussion forum. You have access to the forum, and your fellow members in our vast membership base have a lot of experience and they are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with fellow members.
Getting more free Shooting Situation Cards...
We are going to be eventually offering these cards free through our USCCA website in the future, as part of our direct marketing program to attract new members to USCCA. We will not be distributing them through organizations or groups, as we prefer the direct contact method. Sorry these aren’t available through phone/e-mail orders, but we’re working on the logistics! Members can order 5 additional cards at this time. We do have a forum thread posted about these defensive shooting guidelines cards.
Visit this forum thread for more ordering info:

How many CCW holders are there?
The last estimate we heard was about 88 million gun owners, and about 9 million people who hold CCW licenses.
There could be more CCW holders than that, since one state that DOES reveal the info, Florida, shows that 4 million people there, alone, have CCW permits.
The numbers could be closer to 15 or 20 million CCW holders.
Which gun or holster should I choose?
The choice of a firearm or holster is a deeply personal one. As you are selecting a gun it needs to fit your hand, be comfortable, not too heavy, not too light. The same with the holster, it needs to fit one’s body style and the gun itself. It's like going to a store and trying on clothes to make sure they fit before you buy them...the same principal applies here. You really don't want to solely take recommendations from others because they'll tell you what fits them and feels good to them, which may not be good for you.
Your best bet is to educate yourself by going to a gun show, where many vendors are present. Or if you don't have any in your area try contacting the gun manufacturer for recommendations. Try different models, ask around as to what is important feature-wise for you and you'll end up narrowing down your choices to what suits you best.
If you are a USCCA member with website access, you can also post that question on the forum to see what other member’s would recommend, especially if they have experience with a particular gun or holster.
Giving a gun as a gift...
The choice of a firearm is a deeply personal one. As you are selecting a gun for your wife (or a friend) to use, you might want to read "Giving a Gift Gun," an article which appeared in the 2007 Nov/Dec issue and may be found online at http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/members/992.cfm
Whatever gun she decides upon, it needs to fit her hand. See an article from a past issue, "Gun Fit," at http://www.usconcealedcarry.com/members/1027.cfm. This is a crucial & often overlooked aspect of handgun selection.
Another article from an issue past that might be of assistance: www.usconcealedcarry.com/members/341.cfm (that's "Straight Talk About Curves: finding a holster your body will love").
She doesn't have to carry in a purse unless she really wants to; there are lots of ways for women to carry on-body wearing ordinary, feminine clothing. Not USCCA-specific, but written by CCM's managing editor: "How Do I Hide This Thing?", an overview of carry methods for women, can be found online at www.corneredcat.com/Holsters/howhide.aspx.
TSA and Case Information...
Each airport, and each member of the security personnel may interpret the rules and laws of flying with a firearm a bit differently than intended. This needs to be considered before traveling.
1.The case cannot be pulled open with little effort? What does that mean? Buy a case that is sturdy. Don't get a cheap plastic container that can easily be pried open with bare hands. Be sure if the case has latches that can be opened while the padlocks on the case are in position (needs to lock on both ends not just in the middle), that the case can't be opened even a little bit. Imagine a shed door that has a hasp and a padlock with a knob to turn to open the door when the padlock is removed. Imagine turning the knob on the shed door, and the hasp and padlock allowing the door to open just a tiny bit. If the TSA had to approve that door, it would be better to have a deadbolt on the door so it couldn't be opened even a tiny bit, and the door shouldn't be cheap plastic like they are on those Rubbermaid plastic sheds either. Get it?
The wording of the rules leave the wiggle room for the security personnel to determine if your firearm case is sturdy enough. So just buy a sturdy one that won't budge open even a fraction of an inch when the locks are in place. Probably a locking mechanism that prevents the latches from being opened at all when locked would be best. That way when the padlocks are in place the latches can't even be opened. However, I've only seen cases that have a lip with a hole through it for a padlock. If you stick on a padlock that is too big, then the cases can be opened at least as far as the padlock will slide.
So what's a person to do? Buy a sturdy plastic case such as a Hardigg case http://www.stormcase.com/StormCaseSizes/StormiM2050.htm or maybe even a North Star case http://www.northstarcases.com/detail-T5000+Hard+Pistol+Case.aspx. Just be sure to get a good lock that doesn't allow much movement.
As for loaded magazines I would personally not have any loaded for traveling by air. I would have ammunition stored in the original container I bought it in, and if I didn't have the container I would buy a new box of fresh ammo. I would have any magazines and the gun empty. I'd even add a plastic barrel plug as an extra measure for untrained personnel to see that the gun is unloaded when I'm getting the declaration form.
A person can follow the letter of the rules and law only to be denied due to the interpretation of the laws and rules by the personnel at the time one is traveling. Best to follow all of the rules, guidelines, and protocols as to not call attention to yourself for increased scrutiny. Still, an overzealous employee could single out anyone at any time for further inspection. A backup plan in place to leave the gun behind should be in place just in case they say no way. If dropped off at the airport, I'd have someone stick around in case I needed them to take my gun back home. I'd also show up really early in case I was rn through the mill a few times because of declaring a firearm.
Air travelers travel with firearms every day without incident. However, there is always the exception to the rule.
Right handed and Left handed Holsters
A right-handed holster is designed for a right-handed shooter. A left-handed holster is designed for a left-handed shooter.
Here’s where people sometimes get confused, as it relates to one particular type of holster design (a “crossdraw” holster). If you are right-handed, your holster will generally be worn on your right hip. No confusion there. But if you are right-handed, and want to carry crossdraw, a crossdraw holster generally places the gun on your left hip. But you must still request a right-handed holster even though the holster will be designed to ride on the left side of your belt. If this describes you, just be sure to clarify that it’s a crossdraw holster you’re looking for, and that you’re right-handed, and you should be good to go.
I'm having cookie problems...
http://www.membergate.com/public/260.cfm (link to cookie troubleshooting)
If these things don't work, then you'll need to consult a computer technician. I hope this helps. If none of the items works, and you find out it was something else, please let us know this because we keep the information on file for future members who contact us with this problem. It helps us troubleshoot them first.
My download hasn't shown up...
Please check in your email system (on the date of your transaction) or either your spam or junk box for the email from usconcealedcarry.com or deltamediallc.com, as well as your email inbox. Many internet/e-mail providers could be routing our email with the download link in it through a spam filter and not delivering it to the inbox properly. Most people are finding it in there.
I'm having a problem with download file error...
We have had several people indicate they couldn’t open the file due to an error or the file being damaged. The file is not damaged. We believe this to be caused by one of the two following reasons.
Adobe Version 9 required. Many people with older versions of Adobe are having trouble accessing the download. Please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe on your system and then try the download again. This should correct the problem. If not, please try the next step.
Security Settings set very high. If you can temporarily reduce your computer’s security settings, the security software may think this file is spam or a damaged file, even though it is not.
Either of these should correct the problem, as it has for anyone else who contacted us with that same problem. Please let us know if it does not.
Hypertracker - Security Settings...
I checked with our technical department and it seems that anyone who has a very high security setting on their computer (either through Norton, McAfee, etc) or on their browser settings has a problem with what we call this "re-direct". When you click the link on our emails, it is routed through the site called hypertracker which tracks for us where our leads are coming from. Then after the site "tracks where you contacted us from" it is supposed to re-direct you directly to our site or the site we are promoting. People with high security settings are not allowed the re-direct due to those settings, the security thinks it is sending you to a "spam" type site and will not allow the forwarding.
It looks like you can either try accessing this from a different computer, or reducing the high level of security settings on your computer. Either of these should allow you to get to our ordering site.
We at the USCCA have neither the staffing, the funding, nor the numbers to truly be an effective lobbying group, and that is why we encourage ALL of our members to fully support the National Rifle Association, The Gun Owners of America, and the Jews for the Preservation of Firearm Ownership- not just with their money, but with their time and energy as well. We are proud to boast that over 90% of our members are members of the NRA, and we know that as responsibly armed citizens, all USCCA members are doing their part to stay active politically and civilly.
Several of our members are discussing that bill on the USCCA forums at http://www.uscca.us/forum/showthread.php?t=11673.
If you have forum access, please jump in and let us know your thoughts!
Our managing editor comments about it are that this one will probably go nowhere – it's too sweeping – but it does bear careful watching. You can track the progress of the bill through http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=h111-45.
Be sure to contact your representatives, too. (You can easily find who your representatives are through www.house.gov and through www.senate.gov.)
Additionally, although HR45 has little chance of passing, there are many other bills introduced every day that may negatively affect gun owners and that do have a strong chance of passing if gun owners do not remain vigilant. To keep up with proposed legislation, you might want to sign up for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action newsletter at www.nraila.org. They send out a once a week update on legal and political issues like this.
Here’s what our managing editor provided us on this subject: http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/taxreturns.asp
SB 2099 was proposed in the year 2000 – 9 years ago! It was killed in committee and has never been resubmitted. Please ask your e-mail correspondents to help stamp out that pernicious rumor…it is not a 2010 issue! Gun owners have enough real battles to fight these days! (we suspect the rumor may have been started by an anti-gun person just trying to distract us and make us complacent about genuine threats to our firearms freedom.)
1) Homeowner's Insurance riders: Insurance against civil lawsuits is probably available as a special rider on your homeowner's insurance (or renter's insurance if you don't own your own home). This will cover the cost if your attacker or his family sues you for shooting him, at least the cost up to the limits of the policy. But even if it does cover the cost of defending against a lawsuit, this type of insurance will generally cover you only if you accidentally or negligently shot someone, not if you deliberately shot them (as in self-defense). Even more unfortunately, this type of insurance will definitely not cover the high cost of defending yourself in criminal court, no matter what; it's only intended for civil court. So this insurance will cover the cost of a lawsuit if you shoot someone accidentally or negligently. But it probably will not cover the cost of a lawsuit for deliberately shooting someone, and definitely will not cover the cost of hiring a criminal defense attorney and the related court costs if the police decide to arrest and charge you for shooting someone in self-defense.
2) NRA insurance: If you are an NRA member, you can get insurance that will provide after-the-fact reimbursement for a criminal defense case – IF you are first charged, then acquitted or the charges dropped. It does not pay the cost of hiring an attorney to come alongside and help you avoid getting charged in the first place (which is really best all the way around, and least expensive in the long run). And if you do get charged, and finally decide to plea to a lesser offense just to get the whole mess over with (and many, many otherwise innocent people do decide to plea out for practical reasons having little to do with ultimate guilt or innocence), you're out of luck. The limit on this policy is $50,000, which means it probably won't be enough to take you clear through a complicated case. And again, to pay most attorneys you'll need money up front, so you'd still have to raise that money in some other way before the policy will reimburse you far down the road. So although this insurance is far better than nothing, it's definitely not the perfect solution we all wish it were. www.nra.org or www.locktonrisk.com/nrains/selfdefense.asp
In addition to all that, a few states will reimburse the citizen for the cost of a criminal trial if the citizen is found not guilty by reason of self-defense. As wonderful as this is, it still creates all the drawbacks listed above: you'll have to pay up front, and there are lots of reasons you might not qualify for the program even if you did everything right.
The above is why Marty & Gila Hayes started the Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Network, which is most definitely not insurance but which, through its Foundation, will help members defend themselves against criminal prosecution when the governing board agrees the cause was generally righteous (even if mistakes were made along the way). Through education and support, the goal is to help prevent members from getting into bad shoots to begin with, while through immediate intervention after a shooting, the ACLDN hopes to discourage meritless prosecutions of self-defense cases. www.armedcitizensnetwork.org
Is the government going to get my information?
We do not share our information with ANYONE and we do not believe the government can "hack" into our membership database and steal the names in it. They could probably subpoena records and Tim will surely work to block that to the best of his ability. Hopefully that alleviates some of your concerns.
Tim will not readily turn this information over to ANYONE.
Also, the government already has a list of all those who carry concealed (legally) or who have bought new guns.

Newsletter and Email Questions
I am receiving emails to join, and I'm already a member!
Our newsletter/informational email database is managed by different software than our membership database. These emails are not part of membership benefits. Non-members as well as members can receive them. To try to get non-members to join, we include some joining/marketing material in those newsletter and informational emails. Current members can just disregard that joining information and continue to enjoy the free information. Our “prospect emails” are entirely different and there are a lot more promotional material in those, so you are on the right “list”.
We're sorry that our email software can't distinguish between member and non-member, but please understand that in order to keep providing you with the BEST concealed-carry information, we have to keep growing, and our emails are our number one way of attracting new members!
If you no longer wish to receive the free information in these emails, there is a link at the bottom you can click to unsubscribe yourself from receiving these. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Sorry for the confusion.
How can I contact Tim Schmidt directly?
Please submit a ticket and I'll forward your inquiry to Tim. Please know he receives hundreds of email questions each week and due to the time constraints of running the business, he has time to answer only a very few. I hope yours is one of them!
I didn't get the newsletter on Friday!
The Friday newsletter goes out EVERY Friday. Sometimes emails just don't get delivered and get lost in cyberspace...I've had this happen several times throughout the year myself. You can access any issue of the newsletter right on the newsletter website at www.armedamericanreport.com.
I'm having trouble viewing the emails...
We really haven't changed the method on how we create or send these items out for the last few years now. And, since we do not have really any other complaints from people that this is happening to them, our indicators at this point is that it is something to do just with your computer. We're not sure if your email provider made a change to their system, or if you changed browsers, or even computers. The only suggestion we can give you is to have a local computer technician assist you with this. I'm sorry but we just don't have anything other information to provide to you. The only explanation we can see it being is a settings issues and how your email service receives and processes our emails.
One thing to perhaps try (if you have the capability) to access your emails from a different computer, is to try SEVERAL other computers and see if the problem follows. Our emails are optimized for Internet Explorer browsers, but do work on others but perhaps need some tweaking to work properly. It's working properly for about 104,000+ other subscribers to our free emails/newsletters.
The links aren't working in the emails!
The tech department advised me that one or two emails have had links which didn't work for some people, while they worked for most everyone. The emails from the days following those bad link emails (and up until now) should work for everyone, and are identical to the ones that didn't work.
You should have received more emails since that day they didn't work, and the links hopefully in those worked for you just fine.
Why do I have to confirm my subscription to recieve AAReport
or free video? |
In order to receive the Armed Citizen Solution, you need to click the blue link in that email you received asking for confirmation. By replying to the email, I received your email and it did not confirm to the database where your email address is. That “blue link” automatically does that for us. I can not click the link for you because the computer system will know that the confirmation is not coming from the right place. If you would, please, click the link in the email you received and you’ll be all set!
Unsubscribing Questions...
We do not unsubscribe people from receiving emails, it is managed entirely by the subscriber. There is a link located at the last line of any of the emails we send out which says "to unsubscribe/change subscriber options visit...".
When this link is clicked, it takes subscribers to a page to manage their free subscription information...here they can unsubscribe, or change their name or email address. Then they click "update or save" and the change takes place.
If you have unsubscribed, but would like us to re-instate your receiving these, please submit a ticket and we will contact the software administrator for that program.
Why is there promotional stuff in the newsletter?
Tim and the entire USCCA team understand how you feel about the promotional pieces, however, they have chosen to keep it as is.
Part of any company’s marketing effort is to reach as many people as possible. Tim’s position is that we are giving away a lot of free information in the newsletter, and that is being done in exchange for using the newsletter subscribers e-mail address for promotional emails. Since the subscriber has the choice of subscribing or opting out, it is not considered spamming.
It does cost us money to publish the weekly newsletter each week, and if we didn’t have a way to recoup some money in another way to cover it, we wouldn’t be able to publish the free newsletter. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. If you want to continue receiving the newsletter, but don't like the promotional emails, please just delete all the other emails you get.
