The USCCA Legal Defense Foundation* is a charitable organization founded in 2011 to provide legal defense grants to law-abiding gun owners facing unmeritorious prosecution or unconstitutional government action threatening their right to self-defense and due process.
What We Fund
Grants may be considered for matters including unjust firearms-related criminal charges; firearms prosecutions believed to be unconstitutional; Emergency Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs/”red flag” orders); concealed carry permit or FOID card denials and revocations; firearms rights restoration; and other regulatory or administrative actions threatening the right to keep and bear arms.
How to Apply
The Foundation does not provide legal advice or representation. Before applying, you must have retained counsel or completed a formal consultation with a qualified attorney who has confirmed your matter has a plausible legal basis. To request a grant, request an application at 1-833-763-4249 or Email Us for more information. and submit supporting documentation, including proof of retained counsel or attorney consultation. If approved, funds are paid directly to your attorney of record.
All grants are awarded at the sole discretion of the Foundation, subject to available funds, its bylaws, and guidelines.
