Meet Jenny
Owner | Lead Instructor | Wisconsin Probation & Parole Agent | USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor
Jenny Hole is the owner and lead instructor of On Target Northwoods Defense, LLC—a woman-owned, mobile firearms training and simulation company serving Northern Wisconsin.
Jenny's connection to firearms runs deep. She is the daughter of a veteran and police officer, earned her marksmanship credentials on her high school's NJROTC Rifle Team, and has dedicated more than 15 years to law enforcement. She began her career as a jail deputy and transport officer and now serves as a Wisconsin Probation and Parole Agent. Her experience working with people in high-stress, real-world situations has shaped her practical, safety-first approach to firearms instruction.
As a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, Jenny founded On Target Northwoods Defense with one mission: to make firearms education safe, accessible, practical, and empowering for everyone. She is especially passionate about helping women build confidence with firearms in a welcoming, judgment-free environment, while ensuring every student—whether brand new or experienced—receives professional, hands-on instruction tailored to their skill level.
On Target Northwoods Defense brings professional firearms training directly to communities across Northern Wisconsin through a state-of-the-art mobile virtual shooting simulator featuring more than 300 interactive training scenarios. The company also offers Wisconsin and Minnesota concealed carry courses, customized training, and simulator experiences for civilians, law enforcement agencies, businesses, schools, and community organizations.
Jenny's commitment to strengthening her community has been recognized beyond the classroom. She was honored as a recipient of the Red Letter Grant, supporting the continued growth of On Target Northwoods Defense and its mission to expand access to quality firearms safety education in rural Wisconsin. She was also invited to speak at a regional Women in Business event, where she shared her entrepreneurial journey and encouraged young women to pursue their goals with confidence and determination.
Jenny believes responsible firearm ownership begins with education, confidence, continual training, and a commitment to safety. Whether she's teaching a concealed carry class, leading a simulator session, or speaking to community groups, her goal remains the same—to help every student leave feeling more knowledgeable, more capable, and more confident than when they arrived.
