This comprehensive course covers firearm safety, defensive shooting fundamentals, self-defense law, situational awareness, home defense planning, violent encounters, and the responsibilities that come with carrying a firearm for personal protection.
Students will receive classroom instruction, practical demonstrations, and live-fire training designed to build confidence and competence in a safe and supportive learning environment.

Developing a Personal and Home Protection Plan Situational Awareness and Threat Recognition Firearm Safety and Safe Storage Handgun Types and Ammunition Selection Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Concealed Carry Methods and Equipment Understanding the Legal Use of Force The Aftermath of a Defensive Encounter Live-Fire Range Training and Qualification
This course meets the training requirements for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit and serves as an excellent foundation for anyone seeking further defensive firearms training.
No prior firearms experience is required.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 30 days in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Students that cancel at least 15 days in advance are eligible to receive 50% refund. Classes cancelled less than 15 days before the class will not be refunded unless proper approved documentation of emergency is provided and accepted.
