What We'll Teach
Basic
In this introduction module, Beth Alcazar introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. Alcazar goes on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
It's best to train with your own firearm but if you haven't "pulled the trigger" on firearm ownership yet contact the instructor directly to discuss options for a provided firearm. The Range Hours will be completed at separate location than the classroom hours. Students are highly encouraged to provide their own transportation. The travel time (less than 15 minutes) to the range has been factored into the overall time. If the students schedule only allows for the classroom portion; please communicate with the Instructor, about your options for individual range time at a later date.
