James Reed

Jim is a retired Air Force flight engineer. He began his exposure to shooting sports at the ripe old age of 16 when a family friend gave him a single-shot .22 rifle. Jim began hunting small game and after joining the Air Force moved up to a Winchester model 94 30-30 and hunting for deer and bear in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While in the Air Force he earned the Pistol Expert Marksman award and has since become certified by the NRA as a Range Safety Officer and has instructor certifications in Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Black Powder Rifle, Refuse To Be A Victim, Personal Protection In the Home and Personal Protection Outside the Home as well as a certified instructor with USCCA. He spent three years teaching Illinois Concealed Carry using the 16 hour USCCA curriculum. Now he is in Utah teaching the Utah CFP course.
