What You'll Learn

Students will learn: Rules of Firearm Safety Situational Awareness Conflict Avoidance Discussion of non-lethal options The importance of storing your firearm in a safe manner AT ALL TIMES.

On the range students will learn: Range etiquette Proper grip and stance Proper site alignment How to SAFELY and properly load, unload, and fire a firearm.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds will be issued for cancellations. Students will have up to 60 days to reschedule their class date or private session.

Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

Fee is per person, with a maximum of 2 people. RANGE FEE NOT INCLUDED. Range fees are usually $15-20. If you have your own gun and ammo (Full Metal Jacket) please bring it. If not, you can rent/purchase from the range. IMPORTANT: AMMUNITION MUST BE BRASS. If you are bringing a firearm, please make sure it is in a case AND UNLOADED (magazines removed and no rounds in the chamber).

    "This was my very first time shooting, and I must say I was so nervous. Keisha was extremely patient with me and took her time. She walked me through each step and even modeled proper technique. I was able to start and stop on my own. She showed me how to handle a handgun properly and even allowed me to shoot when I was ready. I was pleased with the outcome.
