What You'll Learn

This is an in person course, both classroom and live fire qualification, that meets the requirements for Texas LTC taught by a certified LTC instructor. This class covers:

  • Laws that relate to weapons and the use of deadly force
  • Handgun use and safety, including use of restraint holsters and methods to ensure the secure carrying of openly carried handguns
  • Non-violent dispute resolution
  • Proper storage practices for handguns with an emphasis on storage practices that eliminate the possibility of accidental injury to a child.
  • Range Safety
  • DPS approved course of fire

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
