The Pistol Performance Clinic is designed for shooters who want to build confidence, consistency, and efficiency with a handgun. Whether you’re newer to shooting or looking to refine core skills that matter on the range or in real-world use. This course focuses on how and why things work, not just what to do.
Through a combination of clear classroom instruction and structured live-fire, you’ll learn proven techniques that improve accuracy, recoil control, and safe gun handling skills that form the backbone of every competent pistol shooter.
Classroom Session Covers:
The Four Rules of Firearms Safety and how to apply them instinctively
Pistol shooting fundamentals and performance mindset
Recommended gear and accessories to support skill development
Range Session Covers:
Safe and efficient range procedures
Grip, stance, and body mechanics for accuracy and recoil management
Trigger control and sight management
Practical drills you can use to continue improving after class
By the end of the Pistol Performance Clinic, you’ll have a clear understanding of how to shoot with greater consistency, diagnose your area's for improvement and train effectively on your own. This class provides the skills and confidence needed to continue your development as a capable, responsible pistol shooter.

What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
