What You'll Learn
This women's only course covers pistols and pistol safety, properly clearing a pistol, the four safety rules, eye dominance, proper stance and grip, working the slide, and the fundamentals of shooting. Perfect for women new to firearms. LIVE FIRE IS NOT INCLUDED. Laser training pistols will be used in this course.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled within 48 hours before the class will result in a 50% refund (minus any applicable processing fees) or a credit towards another class. Calsses cancelled within 24 hoursare non-refundable (credit only).
What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
