What You'll Learn

Explore our AR-15 course specifically designed for civilian use. This curriculum includes both classroom and live-fire training, with a focus on learning how to use an AR-15 for home and self-defense. This course has something for everyone. For those new to the world of AR's you'll learn proper maintenance, operation, and accessories. Seasoned shooters will walk away with a better understanding of a proper zero, importance of round trajectory, and mechanical offset for close encounters. Come join us at Insert Range, on Insert Date, for our next AR-15 Fundamentals class. Feel free to DM with any questions.

What We'll Teach

AR-15 Fundamentals

This classroom and live-fire AR-15 Fundamentals course is designed to introduce responsible gun owners to the safe handling, proper maintenance, and effective use of AR-15-style rifles in the context of civilian home defense and defense.

Classroom topics include:

  • Overview of basic AR-15 nomenclature and function
  • Cleaning and maintenance
  • Accessorizing the AR-15

Live-range topics include:

  • How to safely and effectively operate an AR-15
  • How to confirm zero
  • How to improve skills and precision with an AR-15

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

-A Sling for your rifle is required. -If student's do not own their own firearm, one will be provided at no charge. (call for caliber preference) -If student does not own hearing and/or eye protection, these will be provided at no charge.
