The weather is never an issue as we teach this course in the comfort of an indoor classroom and a modern indoor range that is not open to the public during the range portion of the class.
This N.C. Dept. of Justice Certified Concealed Carry Handgun course will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to carry a concealed handgun in thirty seven states.
This North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) Training is heavily focused on the legal aspects of concealed carry and use of force. While this course meets all requirements set forth by North Carolina Law, we place the greatest emphasis on the legal aspects. The course includes at least eight hours of classroom instruction covering topics such as handgun safety, shooting fundamentals, marksmanship, and legal considerations.
Upon successful completion of the course and required live-fire exercises, students will receive the training certificate required to apply for the North Carolina CCH permit in his or her county.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor
While this is not intended to be a beginner's course, we will work with students to ensure they are safe with, and knowledgeable about handguns. To receive credit for this class, students must pass a written exam and a shooting qualification with shots fired from 3, 5, and 7 yards. Failure to achieve these objectives set by the NC DOJ will result in course failure. Registration costs are NOT refundable or transferrable due to course failure. It is assumed that students taking this course have previously handled firearms and are able to safely and independently load, unload, and fire a handgun accurately at the aforementioned distances. Upon completion, successful students will receive a NC DoJ training completion certificate required to apply for the NC CCH permit. Students will need a pistol and approximately 50 rounds of ammunition. A defensive caliber handgun is recommended; however, rimfire pistols are permitted. Students who do not own a gun may rent a firearm from the range (selection may be limited). The course fee includes all instruction, use of a NC DOJ Handbook/Textbook, additional course materials, the completion certificate, and Range Fee. Firearm rental fees (if applicable) are NOT included in the tuition costs. *NO auto-lock, trigger finger manipulation holsters (i.e.: Blackhawk SERPA CQC, including variants) or collapsible nylon holsters please* VALID PHOTO IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL FIREARMS COURSES.
