My Biography
Lead Instructor for Artemis Self-Protection and Training. I teach with Freddie Merc's Gun Wercs and Artemis Self-Protection, so please search there for our training offered.
I grew up with guns in my family home and owned a gun for many years myself. I was somehow under the impression that that meant I knew how to use a firearm. I actually took my gun camping with me thinking I was ready to protect myself and my kids, only to realize I had loaded the “bullets” into the “clip” backward. The gun went back into the safe and wasn’t touched again for years.
Several years later, I made the decision to attend Freddie Merc’s Premium and Enhanced Concealed Carry class. It was during this class that I learned the magnitude of the responsibilities that come with being a responsible gun owner and realized I didn’t possess any of those attributes but, I still wanted to be able to protect myself and my family.
I began the journey to protect myself physically, morally, socially, financially, and legally when I signed up for my first training class with Will Parker. As I began training I developed a confidence that until then, I had not previously possessed.
I have trained with the very well respected instructors Michael Seeklander, Rich Brown, Andrew Branca, Massad Ayoob, and Will Parker. Under Will's mentorship, I continue to seek out quality training at every opportunity in the hope that I can help other women who feel as I did in the beginning and had no idea where to start.
