• This is physical skills training for the average person or martial artist wanting to focus on purely practical skills for self-defense.

There is stretching and some exercise. Health and fitness are always encouraged for a lifestyle change. Get your start here!

What is Fox-Fu? This is a mixed martial arts class that is a blend of practical self-defense skills from select martial arts.

• No sport.
• No traditional techniques to fight Samurai on horseback!
• Nothing that won't work in real violence!

Elements of the following martial arts make up most of the skill focus: American/Chinese Kenpo, Kali/Escrima (Filipino martial arts), Japanese & Brazillian Jui-jitsu, Muay Thai/kick boxing, and pressure points.

We use a system of levels with increased knowledge and skill development as you progress. You will also be encouraged and supported if you choose a, longer term, martial arts lifestyle. The only system that I teach for a recognized belt rank is the International Karate Connection Association (IKCA) Chinese Kenpo. This is optional. Ask if interested. https://ikcakenpo.com/

I coach you on simple to learn (easy to retain) defensive skills that give you a chance to stop a threat and escape in real-world self defense situations. Discussion of other training, such as the difference in martial arts types. I will even encourage you to consider focusing on specific styles that suit your long term goals and interest. I give you a foundational system for practical self defense no matter what martial art you are trained in or consider training in.
