What You'll Learn
This class meets/exceeds the Michigan requirement for training to obtain your Michigan CPL. The course will cover the home protection plan, self defense firearm basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, legal use of force, violent encounters and their aftermath. This class will be co-instructed with Josh Emory of Modeltown Firearms.

This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Bring a lunch, your personal firearm and 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, comfortable clothing suitable for that days weather.. A loaner handgun and 22LR ammo available for $25.
