Michigan CPL Class – What to Expect Our Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL) class is designed to be informative, approachable, and practical—whether this is your first firearms class or you’re looking to better understand your rights and responsibilities as a CPL holder. This is a classroom-based course focused on Michigan law, safe firearm handling, and real-life scenarios, not intimidation or pressure. Our goal is education, confidence, and clarity.
During the class, you will learn: Michigan CPL laws and legal responsibilities Where you can and cannot carry Use of force and self-defense laws Safe firearm handling and storage Situational awareness and decision-making What it truly means to carry responsibly
What to expect: A relaxed, respectful learning environment Clear explanations with real-world examples Time for questions and discussion Instruction that is easy to understand—even for beginners
What to bring: Government-issued photo ID Proper attire for outdoor range, close toed shoes, eye and ear protection. Notebook and pen (optional but helpful) Firearm and ammunition are required for class, we have ones available or BYOG. 50 Rounds ammo, we are a retailer, we have ammo on site for purchase.
This class meets the training requirement for the Michigan CPL application. Upon successful completion, you will receive your certificate to submit with your application.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
