Location: 4950 Townsend Road, Webberville, MI 48892, easy access off I 96. CLASSROOM IS INSIDE OF THE HEATED BARN SO PLEASE ENTER THROUGH THE DOOR AND PARK WHEREVER YOU'D LIKE ON THE PROPERTY.
Class Details: Prerequisites: None, open to beginners and experienced shooters. No prior firearm experience required. Wear comfortable shoes with closed toes and outdoor range appropriate clothing. Arrive 15 minutes early for check in and waivers.
What to Bring: Eye and ear protection (we have foam ear plug protection and a couple pairs of eye protection if students forget). your own centerfire or rimfire handgun with 40-50 rounds of ammunition. We also offer a .22LR pistol (suppressed with a green dot that can easily be removed if you prefer iron sights, or unsuppressed with a red dot that can easily be removed if you prefer iron sights), another DA/SA 22lr pistol and up to 30-40 rounds of .22LR ammo available for free use by students who would like to use it or don't have their own suitable pistol with no obligation to use it.
Facilities & Amenities: To make quality CPL training affordable and accessible, our indoor/outdoor setup is efficient and focused: sessions occur on our private range with a brand new, impeccably maintained porta potty for clean restroom facilities. (A full indoor bathroom isn't available yet, but we're investing in upgrades to better serve our community.) For quick breaks, a McDonald's is just 1.5 miles away at the Webberville exit. We provide complimentary beverages, light snacks, and certificate for your county clerk CPL application.
Ladies, step into your power with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to responsibly carry and defend. Led by USCCA certified instructor Barbie Dinsmore, this women only course fulfills all Michigan CPL requirements in a safe, supportive space designed just for you. As part of our husband and wife team at DINSMORE DEFENSE, Barbie brings a personalized touch to training that builds real world readiness without intimidation.
Scheduling & Availability: Choose ladies only CPL classes with Barbie for that extra layer of comfort, or explore our mixed gender options with Matthew. We also offer CPL refreshers, beginner pistol sessions, dry fire practice, etc. If a posted time doesn't work, text to reschedule (unless filled). Last minute sign ups after 10 PM? Cancellation Policy: Cancellation and Refund Policy: All class registrations and payments are final and non-refundable under all circumstances. No refunds will be issued for cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, or any changes. Due to limited class sizes and advance preparation, last-minute changes cannot be accommodated. Any rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time, include a confirmed new date/time from our posted schedule, and are subject to availability. Vague or open-ended requests (e.g., "I'll get back to you") cannot be accepted. We value your commitment, appreciate your understanding and thank you for planning ahead!
