My Biography

Conroy (Dean) Eversley is the founder and lead instructor of The Virtual Range Training Academy, LLC, serving the Washington, DC Metro Area (DMV). A lifelong fire enthusiast with several years of dedicated firearms safety training, Conroy delivers modern, judgment-focused instruction that builds confidence in new students and experienced firearms enthusiasts wanting to improve their skills. He is a USCCA Certified Instructor and Range Safety Officer, and a Maryland State Qualified Handgun Instructor — credentials that anchor a safety-oriented, legally knowledgeable approach to safe firearms handling and ownership.

Conroy is committed to teaching a safety-oriented mindset, responsible firearm ownership, and practical skills that students can apply immediately to their personal self-defense and that of their family members — emphasizing mindset, situational awareness, and considerations for the justifiable use of force.
