What You'll Learn
This class for individuals, couples and family to sign up and learn more about basic personal protection and firearms. This class is a basic course and all levels of experience (including no experience) are welcome. Upon successful completion of this course, you will have a better understanding of personal and home defense.
This course meets the Maryland State Police Maryland Wear and Carry Permit training requirements. It does not guarantee approval of the permit.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
MUST have a clear background, be 19 to take the class, although, unless for employment, will not be able to obtain wear and carry permit until 21 years of age and the training is good for 2 years.
