Instructor Certification

If you attend the course and do not receive certification, refunds will not be given. This course is a pass/fail course; there will be no options for remedial training after the fact. If you are not able to pass the class, your options will be to retake the entire class at a later date.

What You'll Learn

This class will certify you to be come a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor. This class will take 16 hours in the classroom minimum and 2 attempts to pass the shooting qualification at the firing range. You must use IRON SIGHTS FOR THE QUALIFICATION. This will be a very vigorous class that will push your mind to its limits, but it will also prepare you to be part of this amazing industry. If you would like to add on any CCW license, feel free to reach out for that option.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to reschedule at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to reschedule their class. Students get one free rescheduling. We do not provide refunds.

What We'll Teach

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals - Certified Instructor

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.

This course has become the nation’s leading curriculum for law-abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. When it comes to firearms fundamentals and concealed carry and home defense concepts, you will provide your students with high-quality material and help them understand the ‘why’ behind training concepts.

Class Preparation: You must complete the corresponding online learning course. (Automatically sent to you upon registering for the class.)

Day 1: you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics including:

  • Top ten instructor mistakes and how to avoid them
  • Teaching best practices
  • Running a safe live fire range

Day 2: You’ll have a chance to:

  • Demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers
  • Run a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire

By combining the knowledge of the USCCA and your passion for training more responsibly armed Americans, you can be assured that you’ve found the instructor certification for you.

    "I just don't know where to start as a retired Air Force E-6 involved in Mobility Support Training Instructor and Firearms Instructor, KWIK Protective Services (KPS) brought it all to say the least. I will start here, Professional, Knowledgeable, and they had all the right materials and instructional equipment to get it done. His if you have any questions, " you can call me anytime 24/7" was not just a line. He was always there for us. His team of instructors and counselors made everyone leave the class feeling that we got more than we asked for. When I went to the USCCA website looking for an instructor, I found that he was not the cheapest, and I wondered why. I sent him a message, and he got back to me so fast and explained his program with emphasis on as soon as you sit in the seat, you will become one of the KPS family, and we were. Chris Dikens and his team would get 10 out of 10 stars if the rating system went that far. I want to thank Chris and his team for treating us like family.
