This course satisfies the State of Maryland requirement to be eligible to apply for a Maryland Wear & Carry Permit (HGP). The class also satisfies the training requirements to be eligible to apply for a Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) that is required to purchase a regulated firearm (handgun) in the State of Maryland.
Security Guard Initial Training Course (ITP) – This course satisfies the 12 hour initial training requirement for Maryland Security Guard Certification enabling you to apply to the Maryland State Police for a Guard Card. Actual issuance of a Guard Card requires sponsorship by a Security Guard Agency or Security Guard employer.
