What You'll Learn
One-on-One Firearms Training (New to Intermediate)
This individualized one-hour training session is designed to introduce new shooters to safe firearm handling while reinforcing fundamentals for intermediate shooters. The session begins with a minimum 20-minute classroom-style discussion to address safety, legal considerations, equipment setup, and student-specific concerns. Instruction then transitions to live-fire range training focused on fundamentals and skill development appropriate to the shooter’s experience level.
Classroom / Lecture (Approx. 20 Minutes)
Firearm safety rules and safe handling practices
Range etiquette and procedures
Overview of Maryland firearm laws relevant to use and transport
Firearm components, operation, and basic maintenance
Gear setup, grip, stance, and sighting concepts
Q&A to address student concerns, goals, and comfort level
Live-Fire Range Instruction (Approx. 40 Minutes)
Dry-fire fundamentals and safety confirmation
Proper grip, stance, and trigger control
Sight alignment and sight picture
Controlled live-fire drills tailored to skill level
Coaching on recoil management and accuracy
Review of performance and next-step recommendations
This course emphasizes safety, confidence, and responsible firearm use, with instruction paced to the individual shooter’s experience and goals.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Bring your own firearm ammunition and accessories if you do currently own these items. If you do not have a firearm or any peripherals. A firearm will be provided as well as eye and ear protection.
