My Biography
Rhinox Research Group is a veteran-owned training company serving Louisville and the surrounding region. We provide practical firearms education designed to help responsible citizens develop safe habits, sound judgment, and confidence under pressure.
Our courses include Basic Handgun Safety, Defensive Handgun, Concealed Carry, and other personal protection training for new and experienced shooters. We lead with calm and do not use fear-based training. Every course emphasizes responsible firearm ownership, real-world decision-making, and skills students can apply when seconds matter.

Objectives: Safety & Marksmanship
• Firearms Safety Rules • Nomenclature (Gun Parts) • Proper Grip • Clearing Procedures • Malfunctions • Target Alignment • Trigger Control • State Gun Laws & USCCA Legal Protection
Live Fire (20rds): Each student will load, fire, and unload a handgun.
Class will transit to the gun range for Live Fire evaluations and qualifications. Students must have reliable transportation.

Class will transit to the gun range for Live Fire evaluations and qualifications. Students must have reliable transportation.
Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy: Customers can reschedule once if done at least 48 hours before the original lesson; further rescheduling leads to lesson cost forfeiture. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the lesson date. Failure to do so means no refund. If Rhinox RG reschedules, a new date will be set following the same policy. If Rhinox RG cancels, the lesson cost will be refunded.
Class minimum is 4 students. Classes that don't meet participation minimums will be cancelled by Rhinox RG. In this case students will have the option to receive a refund or reschedule training at no additional cost.
During this two-day training course, led by a USCCA Training Counselor, you will explore valuable topics, such as: Top Ten Instructor Mistakes, Teaching Best Practices, and Running a Safe Live Fire Range. Additionally, you will demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through multiple short presentations to your peers and guide them during a live fire range session, ensuring the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire.
Concealed Carry Permit Course
The USCCA Concealed Carry Permit Course is a comprehensive program for individuals considering firearm ownership for self-defense. This course covers essential topics, including:
