What You'll Learn
Instructor will tailor the course to the individual(s). 1:1 or 1:2 instructor to student ratio means lots of attention to details, corrections, instruction, and practice on whatever the student wants. Examples of instruction include: fundamentals of shooting, drawing from concealment, shooting behind cover, shooting and moving, reloading, engaging multiple targets, use of lights during shooting, rifle to pistol transition and many more topics. Bring your own pistol and/or AR style rifle or rent one from me. Holster for pistol must be stiff enough to reholster one handed. No cross draw or shoulder holsters. Service grade caliber pistols preferred including .380, 9mm, 10mm, .45, .38 and .357 magnum. AR-15, AR-10 rifle or with pistol brace and pistol carbines okay. Have ammo to purchase in .380, 9mm, and .223 Remington or 5.56mm.
Upon completion of class a video will be provided to review the key points of the class.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
AR-15 Practical Drills
Instructor-led range time including safety essentials, confirmation of zero, and use/operation of an AR-15; students will work on practical drills that focus on getting out of the optic and working on effective shot cadence, along with skill building and AR-15 shooting fundamentals, including recoil management, reloads, and malfunction clearance.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Pistol, rifle training or both for new shooters or those well into their journey. I gladly train those with physical disabilities. We train people in Boise, Kuna, Meridian, Ada County, and the Treasure Valley. This class can be at an indoor or outdoor range. Session will run about 4 hours. Price is $250 for private session. $350 ($175 each person) for semi-private session. You will sign up at $250 for a private lesson and the extra $100 can be paid at the time of the lesson for a semi-private. $10 range fee may apply. Cancellation Policy: Please give 48 hours notice for rescheduling if unable to attend. The other option is to transfer the class to another student. There is a minimum student policy for each class. If The Warrior Within (TWW) cancels class due to weather, minimum student policy or any other reason, the student will have the option of rescheduling or getting a full refund. Cancellation is via email: please ensure you register with the correct email. TWW is not responsible for travel or other related expenses.
