LADIES ONLY HANDGUN LEVEL 3

Handgun 3 Course Description: Level 3 is designed to add tactical and defensive skills to the foundation built in Handgun 1 and 2. Learn how to work through challenges that may arise while using your handgun in a defensive situation. You may not have the privilege of standing facing your target at exactly 7 yards away using both hands. Train the way you want to fight and you will fight the way you trained.

Skills to learn from this class: • Type 1 and Type 2 and Type 3 malfunctions • Off hand shooting • One handed strong hand shooting • One hand Off hand shooting • Kneeling and seated shooting positions • Movement platform • CQB concepts (Close Quarter Battle)

  Prerequisites: Handgun 1 or a Safety Orientation from AFD is required prior to attending this class.

A semi-auto handgun and 2 magazines A holster that fits securely on your body Belt 200 rounds of ammo Hearing and eye protection Close toed shoes Elbow pads or kneepads are optional Appropriate clothing for a covered outdoor range. Dress in layers as we transition between the classroom and range all day. A hat, windbreaker, gloves are recommended on cold days.
