The Atlanta Firearms Training Handgun Bootcamp is a hands-on training course designed for new and experienced shooters who want to strengthen their handgun fundamentals and improve their performance on the range. This class focuses on building a solid foundation through professional instruction, practical exercises, and proven techniques that students can continue practicing long after the course ends.
Whether you are a first-time gun owner or an experienced shooter looking to sharpen your skills, this bootcamp provides a structured environment to develop safe and effective firearm handling habits.
What You'll Learn Firearm Safety Review - Safety is the foundation of responsible firearms ownership. We begin with a comprehensive review of the fundamental firearm safety rules. Students will also review safe loading, unloading, transportation, and range procedures. Review Handgun Fundamentals
Mastering the basics is essential for consistent accuracy and confidence. Instructors will cover:
Proper Grip, Sight Alignment & Sight Picture, Stance, Trigger control,
Live-Fire Range Exercises Students will apply classroom instruction through supervised live-fire drills designed to reinforce core skills. Diagnostic coaching to identify and correct common shooting errors.
Each exercise is designed to help students build confidence while improving consistency and accuracy.
Dry-Fire Training for Home Practice One of the most effective ways to improve shooting skills is through safe, structured dry-fire practice. Students will learn: Safe dry-fire setup procedures. Grip and presentation drills. Sight alignment exercises. Trigger press drills. These drills allow students to continue developing their skills without the expense of ammunition or range time.

Refund Policy: Due to the administrative and financial challenges that refunds present for a small businesses, WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS for class cancellations, missed classes, or no-shows. This policy allows us to continue offering online payments, maintain affordable pricing, and reserving your seat in advance. Prerequisite Requirements: Please read and understand all prerequisite requirements listed for each course prior to registration. If a student registers but does not meet the stated prerequisites, they will not be eligible to attend, and NO REFUND will be provided. Rescheduling Options: We understand that life happens. While refunds are not available, we are committed to working with our students whenever possible. If you contact us AT LEAST 72 hours before your class, we will do our best to accommodate a ONE-TIME rescheduling based on class availability. Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Students have the option of bringing their own firearms and ammo to class in order to learn their particular gun. (semi-automatics only).
