My Biography
Susan Smith is the owner of Get Trained, LLC and is a USCCA instructor certified in Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals, Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals, and as a Range Safety Officer. She is also a Rangemaster Certified Instructor. Her NRA certifications include Pistol Instructor, Rifle Instructor, Home Firearm Safety Instructor, and Chief Range Safety Officer. Through The Complete Combatant, Susan has earned instructor certification in Deliberate Coaching, where she was voted Top Coach by her peers, and is also an Image Based Decisional Drills Certified Advanced Instructor. She is a TWAW (The Well Armed Woman) certified instructor and is also a Glock Certified Armorer.
Susan leads two chapters of Armed Women of America (AWA), a national organization that exists to help educate, equip, and empower women to be their own self-protectors. She also serves as the Florida State Leader of AWA.
Susan is passionate about coaching, teaching, and mentoring others. In addition to teaching firearms classes, she is sought after, by both men and women, for private one-on-one firearms instruction and lessons.
