FIREARMS SAFETY COURSE - 2-DAY, 12 HOUR EXTENDED CLASS

This class meets the legal requirement for purchasing or transferring one of the specified semi-auto firearms in Colorado. If you have a Hunter’s Safety card, you need only take the 4 hour Firearms Safety Course in order to move to the next step in the purchasing process. If you do not have a Hunter’s Safety card, you will be required to take the full 12 hour class. The 12 hour class is split over 2 days. We will break for lunch around noon each day.

You must have your eligibility card/number to register for the class. In accordance with SB25-003, all students must pass a written exam with a score of 90% or higher. There will also be a practical assessment of how to properly, safely handle firearm at the completion of the written test.
