What You'll Learn
Complete Colorado’s 4-Hour Basic Firearms Safety Course in a small-class environment with practical, personalized instruction.
This in-person course is designed to meet the Basic Firearms Safety Course training requirements established under Colorado SB25-003 for individuals pursuing eligibility to purchase specified semiautomatic firearms.
The course includes 4 hours of in-person instruction covering the required curriculum, including firearm safety and responsible handling, safe storage, applicable Colorado firearm laws, semiautomatic firearm safety, practical instruction, and required assessments.
Class sizes are kept manageable to allow time for questions, discussion, and individualized instruction.
Which course do I need? If you have a valid qualifying Colorado Hunter Education certificate, the 4-Hour Basic Firearms Safety Course is the appropriate training pathway.
If you do not have qualifying Hunter Education, you will need to complete the 12-Hour Extended Firearms Safety Course instead.
Is there private instruction available? Private and mobile training is also available. Contact me directly for private, small-group, or on-site course scheduling and pricing.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
