What You'll Learn
Enroll in our in-depth CCW training course to gain the essential knowledge needed to pass the CCW examination and secure your Certificate of Training, a key requirement for your permit application with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD), or Gardena, Hermosa Beach, Los Angeles (LAPD not LASD), Montebello, Redondo Beach, Torrance, or Whittier in Los Angeles County. While completing this 16-hour course and passing the exam doesn’t guarantee CCW approval, it greatly enhances your readiness. We strongly recommend all CCW candidates purchase liability insurance upon course completion for added protection. Note that vouchers are not accepted for this class. This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

The required test will be sent to you via email. It is an untimed test but must be completed prior to the class date. We will go over the test during the class.
