What You'll Learn
YOU WILL LEARN... Safe gun handling rules Range etiquette How to legally transport firearms in California How to safely secure and store firearms How to safely load and unload The fundamentals of shooting including Grip, Stance, Sight Alignment & Sight Picture, Trigger Control & Follow Through.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will be transferred to the next available class date.
What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
This class is for LADIES ONLY and is taught by a USCCA/NRA Certified FEMALE Instructor. You may bring your own gun, or if you do not have one, we will provide one for you to use during the class. Classes are held at High Desert Firearm Training located in Apple Valley, CA with Range Time at West Victor Valley Shooting Club. At succcessfull completion of the class, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Please call or text Diana at 951 544-9190 with any questions or concerns.
