What You'll Learn
This course is designed to build a strong foundation in defensive handgun use with iron sights or optic. Emphasis is placed on safe handling, proper grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and accuracy under controlled conditions. Instruction focuses on responsible firearms use, safety, and disciplined fundamentals applicable to real-world defensive situations. This course is ideal for new handgun owners or those seeking to strengthen their fundamentals through structured instruction.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
