Point Blank Firearms & Self-Defense Training, LLC is offering FREE 8-hour Citizens Self-Defense courses for Mat-Su Borough residents!

Taught by USCCA/NRA-certified instructors, including current and former law-enforcement officers, providing practical, legally sound, real-world training for your community.

Training Includes Concealed carry & home defense fundamentals Firearms and shooting basics Alaska gun laws & use of force De-escalation and decision-making Shooting simulator: shoot/no-shoot scenarios Live-fire range (50 rounds)

What's Provided: Ammo Firearm Eye & ear protection ** Must be a Mat-Su Borough resident All the student needs to bring is their lunch and snacks for the day.

What We'll Teach

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
