Ladies must SUCCESSFULLY complete the Basic firearms portion and intermediate classes to ensure readiness to move to the next level. If you have not had a basic and intermediate class, please do those first. We will review Universal safety. Each student must demonstrate Universal safety with an UNLOADED firearm drawing from the holster until you are proficient. Then we will move to loading our firearms and drawing from concealment slowly with each step broken down and putting rounds on target. Anyone failing to demonstrate Universal safety will not be able to be on live firing line. You will advance as your skills are applicable.

This is for those USCCA Members who have earned their level 1 or 2 patches. YOU MUST HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED at least a Beginner Firearms class that included LIVE FIRE and present proof from any CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR. We will review Universal Safety and you must be able to demonstrate proper grip and Universal safety before proceeding to the firing line. If you have not learned to keep your gun pointed at the target at all times and your finger OFF the trigger and out of the trigger guard until the command has been given to shoot, you will not be allowed to go to the firing line. Any safety violations would result in removal from the class. We will learn and practice Emergency reloads, Tactical reloads, clearing malfunctions. These type drills are not allowed on the regular range. We will be on an instructor range and you must be with a Certified firearms instructor to use this range. As women, we understand the issues and concerns about self defense that women face. We all started as beginners and we want to help you to become your own first responder. As much as we love police officers, they cannot be carried in our pocket. They arrive in minutes when seconds count. Price listed includes the classroom rental, range fee, eye protection, hearing protection, targets and a dummy round to take home. The class fee MUST BE PREPAID TO RESERVE your spot. You need live fire to learn recoil management and a simulator cannot produce true recoil due to lack of gunpowder. THIS IS A 2 DAY CLASS.

This class is great for those who want an all encompassing class from firearm models, how ammunition functions and ammo choice, home security, personal security, situational awareness, AL self defense law and more! A NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $50 must be paid upon reserving your spot for the class. Balance due upon arrival for the class. If something happens and you cannot make it the 1st date scheduled you will be able to reschedule for a class date within 30 days of the date originally scheduled.

We go through the full AL Gun Law as well as discuss changes to the existing law that HB6 endeavors to change. This Bill has been pre-filed for next House session by Represenative Shane Stringer. You also learn how to use the Alabama Legislature sight to follow Bills and see what is happening in the Alabama Statehouse. We also cover the Universal safe handling for firearms using prop guns. In this class we will discuss current local and statewide crimes, how to avoid and escape violent encounters, the best places to sit or hangout when out and about, where to park and where to avoid, what self defense tools may interest you and the next steps after choosing your self defense options. This is a great class for ladies who realize that we can't carry a police officer in our pocket and must learn to make wise choices. Those choices cannot be effectively made during an attack. You must plan ahead and think it through before being faced with a violent encounter. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

You will put the classroom materials you learned in previous classes and range time you have already completed into practice with real life type scenarios. This class includes drawing from concealment and rapid fire. You MUST have completed an intermediate class with me AND demonstrate Universal safety CONSISTENTLY to participate in these drills.

We will discuss how you can be more proactive in your situational awareness, things you can do to secure your home or apartment as well as some personal items you can wear to call for help or using features every cellphone has to send SOS messages.

This is a charity event to help a family with an emergency child adoption. They must raise attorney fees before Dec. 8th. This is basically a buy 1 get one free class. If you register for this class at $50 (this is $20 range fee and $30 directly to the adoption) you will get the Women's Intermediate class for $20 (just to cover the range fee). This is a $285 value for $70 total.

This class is for those who realize they need to learn to defend themselves but are not yet comfortable with handling a loaded gun. You will learn firearms Universal safety, a basic view of how they function, proper grip, trigger press, sight alignment, how to load a magazine, racking the slide, range rules, and commands so that you can go to your range and practice without fear of embarrassment from not knowing the rules and what the commands mean.
