What You'll Learn
Leveraging the training offered by USCCA’s Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense we offer individualized, private sessions for those individuals who for various reasons prefer 1-on-1 instruction. In-person and virtual sessions are offered. To discuss the objective of the session, the date and the venue, we recommend a 15-minute call in advance.

Cancellation Policy: Students must request to cancel at least 7 days before the class date to be eligible for a refund of 50% of the registration fees paid. Students requesting to cancel less than 7 days before the class are not eligible for a refund. Students who do not show up to attend a class are not eligible for a refund but may be rescheduled for a future class held within 6 months of their original class date if space is available. Students who do not attend all portions of a class are not eligible for a refund but may arrange with an instructor to attend another session.
What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
