Over 1 MILLION Students Trained!

Like many Americans, and rightly so, you might be thinking about personal defense a lot more these days.

Maybe you've already taken a concealed carry class to get your CCW permit but need a refresher course. Or, maybe you'd feel more comfortable learning about firearms before buying one.

Whatever your reason, the USCCA's expert-crafted training classes give you the tools you need to live the protector lifestyle.

WOMEN'S HANDGUN & SELF-DEFENSE FUNDAMENTALS:

Start Training With the Topic of Your Choice

MINI-CLASS

Women’s Basic Pistol

Get a deeper understanding of handgun safety basics, giving you the confidence to use the tool you’ve chosen to protect yourself and your family with. In this firearms training for women, you’ll explore how to safely “clear” (unload) a semi-automatic handgun and build skills that result in safe, accurate, and comfortable shooting. Your instructor will also explain the seven key fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by explaining how to take those fundamental building blocks and put them to use, both in the classroom and on the shooting range.

MINI-CLASS

Women’s Personal Safety

Create your own expert-guided personal defense plan and avoid looking like an easy target! Taking a USCCA Women’s Personal Safety Training Class means you’ll work with a professional instructor to develop a simple, yet highly effective, personal protection plan. This lifesaving exercise can be used every single day to help you recognize, and more importantly, avoid the threats you’re likely already facing. Plus, these firearms trainings for women provide a better understanding of how to choose the self-defense tool that’s right for you!

Firearms training for women isn’t just about pointing a firearm and pulling the trigger, it goes much deeper than that. Choosing the right handgun is a critical step in protecting yourself. You’ll learn the vital information that self-defense “insiders” seem to make overly complex. Taking a Women’s Personal Safety Training Class also means you’ll discuss other use-of-force options, what critical steps to take to keep yourself safe (no matter what happens next), 5 powerful situational awareness tips to avoid threats or looking like an easy target, and how to properly and justifiably defend yourself in every self-defense situation. Plus, get all of your questions answered during a LIVE Q&A with USCCA-Certified Instructors.

MINI-CLASS

Women’s Intermediate Pistol

This training class expands on Women’s Basic Pistol and provides a clear explanation of the main differences between semi-automatic handguns and revolvers. You’ll also get a practical explanation of what makes each type of handgun a good fit for your personal use, or something that may not work for your particular situation. Firearms can also malfunction which is why you’ll get an in-depth understanding of how you should properly and safely correct those malfunctions if they ever happen. How you carry a handgun is a huge deal! Find out the different holster options you have for concealed carry, which do include specific purses, undergarments, holsters, and leggings. Finally, explore what all responsibly armed women should know about establishing boundaries using the “Color Codes of Awareness;” a vital lesson for your safety and security in everyday life.

MINI-CLASS

Women’s Defensive Pistol

Add another layer of personal protection to your life by diving deeper into more advanced topics of self-defense with a handgun by taking a Women's Defensive Pistol Class. In these firearms training classes for women, you'll walk away feeling liberated and will gain a realistic understanding of what to expect when avoiding, escaping, and defending against an attacker. You will also explore what your obligations are, under the law, as it relates to your legal right to use of force.

Women who participate in these classes work on their ability to safely draw a handgun from either a holster or a handbag, the basics of live-fire etiquette, as well as on and off-range drills. Those drills include learning how to use cover and concealment, and how to shoot on the move.

What is a MINI-CLASS?

A USCCA Mini-Class is a shorter, in-person session which is dedicated to a singular discipline. This is perfect for those who are just starting out with their training, or those who are looking for a refresher on specific topics. Mini-Classes are modules directly pulled from the USCCA's primary “Fundamentals” curriculums and taught by Certified Instructors.
