Two days ago, U.S. Concealed Carry Association Founder and CEO Tim Schmidt sat down with North Carolina Rep. Richard Hudson (R), the man behind introducing to Congress the National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act (H.R. 38). You can view the interview here.

H.R. 38: A Fight For All Americans

If you’re not already aware, Hudson has been a longtime champion for national concealed carry reciprocity legislation. He’s serving on the front lines in Congress, speaking out and spearheading this cause in the interest of all gun owners.

The USCCA is 100 percent behind the bill Hudson reintroduced in January. To support his effort, it recently launched an online petition, and in just a few short weeks collected more than 100,000 signatures in favor of H.R. 38. Schmidt recently spoke on Newsmax TV and penned a heartfelt letter to President Biden expressing the importance of national concealed carry reciprocity and protecting gun rights for all Americans.

More recently than ever before, Americans’ gun rights are being threatened. Not only is a fight being waged on behalf of concealed carry permit holders but for all Americans who value freedom.

Getting to Know Rep. Hudson

Hudson discusses with Schmidt how he became a defender of the Second Amendment, how and why he decided to take up the cause of national concealed carry reciprocity, the anti-gun bills attacking the Second Amendment, teaching his son about gun safety and more.
