Finding the perfect everyday carry gun belt is an important step in the concealed carry journey. In 2019, I reviewed the Titan Precise Fit V.4 from Nexbelt and have used it as applicable since then. Featuring Nexbelt’s patented ratchet adjustment technology, it’s an excellent gun belt that can accommodate even the heaviest of handguns without discomfort or sagging.

However, the Titan belt is a tactical belt that was designed to look tactical. Recognizing the need for many carriers to blend in or be a “gray man,” Nexbelt developed the Supreme Appendix Carry PreciseFit for inside-the-waistband or outside-the-waistband carry. This heavy-duty belt offers a softer, dressier look that blends better with a casual wardrobe.

About the Nexbelt Supreme Appendix Belt

Like the Titan belt, the Supreme Appendix concealed carry belt is constructed of high-density microfiber to hold your gun and gear without sagging. The dimensions are also the same with a strap width of 1 ½ inches and thickness near 3/16 inches and long enough to fit waists up to 50 inches. However, this belt appears smooth rather than textured, lending a modern dress-casual look. Nexbelt also carries additional lines of golf belts, dress belts, and Rowland Thomas luxury fashion brand belts. All gun belts feature the unique ratcheting system.

The ratchet adjustment system Nexbelt utilizes is a series of dual red plastic ratchets in the center of the belt, measuring 12 inches in length that engage the locking mechanism within the buckle. The buckles also contain the release mechanism to allow the belt to be removed from the waist.

The buckle on the Supreme is also different from that of the Titan design. Featuring a tasteful, lowkey lowercase n in a white circle, the buckles is a compact solid square design with a granite black textured powder coating that won’t show prints or smudges. A black leather loop is included for securing the belt tab once it is buckled. The belt can be slid to the left or right as needed to accommodate the positioning of spare magazines or an optimal holster position and still be fully functional. The Supreme belt looks really sharp regardless of the type of trousers or shorts worn with it.

I prefer the operation of the new buckle design on the Supreme buckle. It uses a new chrome pushbutton located on the underside of the buckle. Pushing up and holding the button allows the rachets to clear the mechanism. The Supreme Appendix EDC gun belt is also more comfortable than the Titan, likely due to the somewhat softer and more flexible outer layer.

Personalized Fit and Reliable Performance

The Nexbelt arrives with a generous length, suitable for waists up to 50 inches. The adjustment process is user-friendly, with clear markings inside the belt to guide you. Nexbelt recommends adding two inches to your current waist size, but a more conservative approach, like adding 4 inches, ensures a precise fit. Taking the extra time for careful adjustment pays off in the end.

Putting the Nexbelt Supreme to the test, I’ve carried four different handguns in OWB holsters, including a Smith & Wesson 638 .38 Special snub, Remington R1 Executive Compact Ultralight .45, Springfield Armory SA-35 9mm and Alchemy Custom Weaponry Classic Carry 1911 in .38 Super. The Supreme delivered exceptional support, comfort and effortless on/off operation with all four firearms.

The Nexbelt Supreme PrecisionFit is a well-designed and refined gun belt. It is tactical in function yet low profile in appearance. MSRP is $69.99
