Weather permitting, I vote the Hawaiian shirt as the perfect cover garment for the concealed carry lifestyle. You may argue with this (depending on your fashion sense), but there is no arguing with the fact that a loose-fitting shirt with plenty of room to breathe can really help you conceal a firearm carried at your waist. Such shirts reduce printing — that telltale lump under the shirt that gives away the fact that you are carrying a gun — and also provide for rapid access to the firearm. The shirts are built for comfort, are easy to wear and, at most outdoor activities in the summer, allow you to blend right in. They are, in fact, urban camouflage. And just check out how many guns I have hidden in this beauty of a shirt.
Never Pay Full Price for This Cover Garment
I find all my Hawaiian shirts at resale shops. It seems wives all over the country tend to just toss these beauties in the “donation” pile. Unlucky for those guys, but lucky for those of us in the concealed carry world. Just another aftermarket bargain.
