I'm excited to tell you about Concealed Carry Magazine and the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA)!
But before I go into all of the fantastic benefits you'll receive by joining the other 27,301+ Americans like you who've joined this fast-growing organization, I wanted to tell you what motivated me to start all this in the first place…
I Was Having Violent Daydreams!
During the fall of 2002, shortly after my wife and I had our first child, the responsibility of taking care of my new family weighed
heavily on me.
As young fathers often do, I began running scenarios over and over in my head of what I would do if I found myself and my family in a violent attack situation. Bottom line - I didn't like how these scenarios were playing out in my head - not at all!
It's My Responsibility to My Family
I realized that if I "stood by the sidelines" and didn't take steps to prepare myself and my family for the worst, we were "sitting ducks" for any street thug, rapist, or burglar who packed any type of weapon more deadly than his own fist!
If something ever happened to my wife and kids and I wasn't able to protect them…well, I don't think I'd be able to live with myself.
That's when I made the decision to do whatever it took to protect my loved ones. And if that meant carrying a gun, well then I had better start learning how to do just that…
So Many Unanswered Questions
I quickly figured out that even though I grew up around guns and even owned a few myself - I really didn't know the first thing about what I should carry, the best way to conceal it, or even how to use it in various situations.
Sure, the gun magazines and books told me tons of stuff about every gun and holster under the sun, but nothing seemed to tell me the in-depth information specifically about Concealed Carry that I needed to know!
And since there were 4 million other U.S. Citizens who had concealed carry permits, I realized that they must have been just as frustrated as me with the lack of good information.
So that's when I started the United States Concealed Carry Association and Concealed Carry Magazine.
I Had No Idea How BIG This Would Become!
Since our humble beginnings in 2004, we've grown to over 27,301 members strong! And I'm proud to say that we've created much more than a magazine - we're created a very tight-knit community of folks from all walks of life…Moms, Dads, Grandmas, young adults, doctors, mechanics, teachers, business owners, retired folks -
you name it.
If you're like me, I'm confident you'll be very happy to become a member of U.S. Concealed Carry.
If you feel the same way I do about family, responsibility, and self-defense, I'd be honored to have you as a new member.
