3. Sealing or Expunging Records: Even when members are found innocent in a self-defense case, the charges may remain on public record. 4. Financial Peace of Mind: The USCCA includes a Recoupment Clause, as required by certain states; however, it will only enforce this clause if compelled by a court order. To date, this has never occurred in the history of the USCCA’s operations.
5. Attorney Selection: USCCA members also appreciate the freedom to choose their own attorneys, with two simple conditions: the attorney must have relevant experience and agree to the insurance provider's guidelines.
