What’s the best way to get the attention of your elected representatives? A personal letter is likely the best. A phone call to the office works, too. An email will also work. The key is to use your own words, not a form letter.
A brief discussion with a legislative aide from my local state representative’s office provided some valuable insight. He claimed all correspondence is read or reviewed, but conceded that form letters might not be as potent as your own words.
