SIG SAUER was founded 160 years ago as a wagon factory in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland. Today, it’s one of the premier firearms manufacturers in the world.

In 1996, the company established a training academy in the U.S. modeled after the FBI’s renowned firearms training complex. The SIG SAUER Academy provides first-rate service and the highest-quality training. Its self-defense, firearms and tactics training courses are intended for both armed professionals and responsibly armed citizens. The U.S. Concealed Carry Association will be sending a lucky winner and guest to this celebrated academy. The total experience is valued at $20,570.

The Experience

One winner and his or her guest will spend six days/five nights in New Hampshire. The U.S. Concealed Carry Association will provide a check for $4,250 to cover all travel expenses — hotel, flight, transportation and food. Both individuals will fly into Boston, Massachusetts, on the first day. On day two, the winner and guest will receive an exclusive tour of SIG SAUER’s 140-plus-acre facility in Epping, New Hampshire.

The next three days will be spent training at the SIG SAUER Academy with its team of world-class instructors. The academy features state-of-the art indoor and outdoor ranges, tactical training areas, urban environments, a shoot house, a maritime training area and a force-on-force village. The academy’s training curriculum is based on these four principles: adult learning, objective-based training, EDIP (Explain, Demonstrate, Imitate and Practice), and outcome-based vs. performance-based training. The school’s motto is, “No matter what firearm you shoot, we’ll make you a better shooter, guaranteed.” Regardless if you are a novice or expert shooter, you will leave the academy on day six a better responsibly armed citizen than when you arrived.
