I own my share of “tactical Tupperware.” Polymer guns are reliable, accurate and affordable. They’re also easier to replace if something goes wrong. But overall quality isn’t their strong suit.

While some custom firearms use exotic materials like meteorite, you don’t need space rock to benefit from superior craftsmanship. Metals, polymers and machining methods are all top-tier.

While aftermarket parts can improve a factory pistol, they don’t compare to selecting every detail of a firearm built specifically for you. A custom handgun is exactly that: custom. You choose:

- Finish and color
No, custom handguns aren’t cheap. Prices often range from $3,000 to $7,000. For those willing and able to save and invest, the result is a firearm built to be used.
High-end custom handguns aren’t for everyone. Factory firearms remain excellent tools for self-defense. But for shooters who value craftsmanship, fit and precision, high-end guns absolutely earn their price tags.
