Tuesday morning, authorities were notified of a possible active shooter in the Naval Medical Center located in San Diego, CA. It has been reported that the shooter is in building #26, where the Security Pass and Decal office is located.
All buildings have been placed on lockdown, but those already in the facility are told by officials to either “run, hide, or fight.” Others are asked to stay clear of the compound.
The NMCSD has more than 6,500 military, civilian, contractor, and volunteer personnel as well as personnel that has been deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait.
