Self-Defense SHIELD

Well, it’s been a long time in the works, but the USCCA Self-Defense SHIELD member benefit is finally live. The USCCA Self-Defense SHIELD is a unique combination of three layers of self-defense protection. The core layer is an insurance-backed, criminal and civil liability benefit.

The USCCA owns the insurance policy and the Silver Plus, Gold Plus, and Platinum Plus members are the beneficiaries of this insurance policy. The other two layers of the Self- Defense SHIELD are provided by grant access to the USCCA Legal Defense Foundation, Inc. This foundation is funded by private donations and absolutely no USCCA membership dues are allocated to this fund.

Be sure to visit the all new USCCA website at www.USConcealedCarry.com to check out how this amazing new member benefit works.

Take care and stay safe,

  1. Well I finally did it and I’m sure glad I did. I now have peace of mind. And as long as I use my gun for the right reason, I know I’ll be covered by defense shield.

  2. I’ve not been in any legal trouble for many years(12).
I now assist in bail enforcement and legal investigations
and find it neccessary to arm my self much of the time.
My life and my colleagues life were spared by only presenting our weapons at stance on the ready. I would like to find the most legitimate possess/carry position possible for me. My legal history does include felonious acts. . .possession without permit to carry/own. Any advice. . .Anyone?
    Thanks,
    A.R.

    1. Depends on where you live. Most States now have a process to restore your 2nd Amendment rights. Some you have to hire an attorney to file the paperwork correctly and pay a price they name. Other States have passed laws that restore your rights after a specific amount of time automatically. The rest are somewhere in between. You should check your State’s website or retain an attorney so you know for sure. Hope this helps you, HondaTrip

  3. Hope I never have to use it….but I’m glad I got it. Peace of Mind

  4. Finally made the decision to join, (like there should be hesitation?) Feel good about my decision, hope I never need it, but it is like any other insurance in that it is not worth a dime until you need it. Now all I need to do is to get a criminal defense lawyer to return my calls so we can get one on board.

  5. Got mine along with me fine IRISH 2nd amendment attorney!

  6. From Kyotihunter : Everyone and anyone who wishes to excersise thier 2nd Amendment or the 1st as far as that goes should take the time to review this site and study it carefully . Thier is a treasure trove of unlimited information that is at hand for you , if you decide to carry a firearm for self-protection and defense . If you don’t take advantage of this site and information you should’nt be carrying a firearm . This has to be one of the best information sites for open or concealed carry on the internet . My hat is off to the personal who put this site up for all to access . Thank you and God Bless and stay safe .

  7. Before joining, it was always on the back of my mind. Every time I carried, I would always think about having to use my gun to protect myself or family, and then getting drug through our money hungery court system. Now its like when Im carring I dont have to think about that part of it any more. I pray to GOD I never have to use my weapon . But if I ever do I think it will take the hesitation away.

  8. I like the civil and criminal protection in the remote chance of a self defence event. This issue will especially intensify with our crumbling econamy.

  9. Well, I finally did it, and the reason I did was because a very good friend of mine was shot a couple weeks ago, while just driving along in his truck down town. Thank the good Lord he will recover, but he was shot through the hand, and the bullet lodged in his shoulder blade. If that should happen to me I will try to protect myself with my pistol, and will need legal help immediately. Now I have it!!

  10. Thought about this for some time. I’ll probably never need it, but it only takes one incident and your screwed without it. Even if you are 100% in the right, your going to have to prove it on your own dime. I’ve work too hard my whole life to risk losing it. I’ve been on both sides of the coin, civilian and LEO and know all too well how armchair lawyers can pick apart your actions .
Thanks to Tim and USCCA I will feel more confident that some has my back covered.

  11. With all the anti’s trying to disarm us, insurance makes sense. I carry auto insurance because it makes sense (and is required). I carry life insurance because I’m not an immortal, but my family is. We’ve been citizens since the Potato Famine gave us reasons to abandon the Ould Sod. Prudence is a very important virtue, since no one can predict the future. Anyone without USCCA insurance probably goes hiking in the rainy season without a rain coat

  12. I thought a long time about this and decided it made more sense to have the SHIELD watch my back so I wouldn’t hesitate to watch my families and my own back.

Thanks Tim for the “ SHIELD “.
