Excellent item. High quality. Can double as a makeshift cleaning mat as well. Out of the package it seems dry to the touch but it does leave a thin layer of protective silicone on the firearm. Excellent item for the final wipe down before storage. One other thing to note is this cloth is much larger than most cleaning cloths out there. I would recommend.
