What You'll Learn

Regardless of your skill level, this is a HANDS-ON 1.5-hour mini-course course where we cover and fine-tune your handgun shooting fundamentals while practicing safe firearm handling. Range time will take place the following day.

Classes are held in conjunction with the Armed Women of America SE Wisconsin Chapter.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes canceled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

What We'll Teach

Basic

In this introduction module, Beth Alcazar introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. Alcazar goes on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.

Additional Notes from Your Instructor

Bring your handgun, snap caps, laser cartridges, and firearms manual (if you have it). Leave ALL live ammo in your vehicle.
