WV/OHIO CHL

This 8 hour course, developed by nationally recognized instructors and coaches, covers all the material needed to build a foundational concealed carry lifestyle, and satisfies the live-fire training requirement for Concealed Handgun License applicants in the states of West Virginia or Ohio. Utilizing modern techniques in a comfortable setting, students will maximize their learning on the following topics:

Classroom Portion

Safety Principles and Checkpoints Situational Awareness, Defensive Mindset, and Force Psychology West Virginia / Ohio State Firearm and Use of Force Laws Principles of Everyday Carry & Gear Handgun Mechanism & Operation Ammunition & Loading Shooting Fundamentals

Range Portion

Warm-up course of fire GUNTRY Handgun Permit Qualification course

This total course includes 8 Hours of Instruction, including a minimum of 2 hours of range time.  The Approved Training is Offered by a Certified  Handgun Instructor.

THIS COURSE IS PART OF OUR 32 HOUR GUNTRY DEFENSIVE HANDGUN ACADEMY

Students will need a handgun (We encourage students to bring the firearm they intend to carry after completion of the course; however, we have firearms available for rent for an additional $10 fee. Rentals will require ammunition to be purchased from GUNTRY), 100 rounds of ammunition (available for sale at the Range Desk. if you bring your own handgun you may use your own ammunition - no tracer ammo), eye and ear protection (we can provide if needed), and a holster for the handgun you intend to use (if you possess one).

Requirements: It is highly recommended that students complete Semi-Auto Pistol 2 before enrolling in the CHL Class

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled class to begin the fingerprinting process. Please note that classes begin promptly on the hour. Those who are more than 5 minutes late to class will not be admitted and will need to reschedule. Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to our GUNTRY guidelines.

For a full refund, customers must contact GUNTRY at least 24-hours in advance. If customers call the day of a class, up until class time starts, we can offer a full refund to in-store credit or reschedule the class. If customers call anytime after class has started, we will offer a 50% in-store credit for the value of the class.
