What You'll Learn
Level 1 Defensive Shotgun is a perfect introduction for anyone, especially women, to home defense using shotguns.
Home defense is very different from concealed carry/personal defense or hunting, not only (in some cases) legally, but also tactically(meaning the actual physical acts of weapon manipulation and maneuverability in your home environment.
We will cover the role of a shotgun in home defense, the pros and cons of shotguns as home defense weapons, as well as the differences in loads (ammunition) and gauges; with a focus on how they work in different home environments.
Students will learn proper weapon safety and handling, how to load/reload during defensive scenarios, and will run basic introductory live-fire drills.
Cancellation Policy: Students may cancel within 48 hours of making reservations for full refund. After 48 hours, no refunds will be issued, however students may credit their tuition toward another class date.
